Zürich is a leading global city and among the world’s largest financial centers despite having a relatively low population. The city is home to a large number of financial institutions and banking giants. Most of Switzerland’s research and development centers are concentrated in Zürich and the low tax rates attract overseas companies to set up their headquarters there.

Many museums and art galleries can be found in the city, including the Swiss National Museum and the Kunsthaus.  Schauspielhaus Zürich is one of the most important theatres in the German-speaking world.

Here you will find extraordinary culinary spots and many chances to entertain yourselves. The most famous districts for Nightlife are the Niederdorf in the old town with bars, restaurants, lounges, hotels, clubs, etc. and a lot of fashion shops for a young and stylish public and the Langstrasse in the districts 4 and 5 of the city. There are authentic amusements: bars, HipHop stages, Caribbean restaurants, arthouse cinemas, Turkish kebabs and Italian espresso-bars.

Something extra that you can definately enjoy in Zurich is the nature that surrounds the city. From Zurich main station, you can travel to the region’s most stunning locations in less than an hour, such as picturesque Rapperswil on Lake Zurich, the majestic Rhine Falls or the nearby Uetliberg mountain. You can also do your work out in the city as most of the people here run along the lake or the river and swim there in the warm months of the year.
